“Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering. . .every hero and coward. . .every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every “supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
— Carl Sagan, The Pale Blue Dot

This is my favorite description of life I've ever read. It both reminds me of our smallness and infiniteness. We are tiny beautiful universes of joy and tragedy, of love and adventure. of heartache and struggle. It makes me think of the ocean of moments that exist in this place and inspires me to capture as many as I can before my own bright light fades.

To me, photographs are fossilized moments that line the long hallways of our lives, allowing us to time travel when our minds fail us.

So Wild Native is a photography studio that believes every love story should read like page-turning adventure book because love is the ultimate adventure.

I know that wedding planning can feel overwhelming but it doesn't have to be this way. My best-case is when couples become great friends who listen to each other and work together to create the best environment possible for moments to take flight. I love to try new things and reveal each love story in a creative way that is unlike anything I've ever shot before. It’s what keeps me on my toes and loving what I do every.single.time. I value the input of my couples before, during and after the shoot and believe that open communication and genuine friendship is the recipe for a perfect photograph.

My ultimate goal is that, years from now, you will see how lovestruck you were on your wedding day and how deeply your soul is and was loved by your one-and-only. I want you to see how much you were loved + celebrated by your precious tribe of friends and family. And I want the photos from your wedding day to become the dance floor for your children's children when you're old and gray.

It is my hope that through our adventure together, you will enjoy the light of a thousand memories for all the years you are at home on this pale blue dot.

I'd love to meetcha.
